This is an ill band out of the Bay Area, California calledl F.A.M.E. (Fresh Analog Music Group). They’re doing some really dope stuff with the turntables and keeping it real authentic creating music without the use of digital devices and computers. Definitely some cool stuff i thought you guys should be up on!

The store will now move to focusing on online retail, distribution, as well as maintaining its Brooklyn-based label. Fat Beats Records is home to such artists as Black Milk, Ill Bill, Sha Stimuli and KRS-One and True Master’s upcoming project. Over the years, the label has released acclaimed albums such as Black Milk’s Tronic, Torae’s Daily Conversation and Freddie Foxxx’s Crazy Like A Foxxx.

I’m a big Ozzy Osbourne/Black Sabbath fan and thought this was pretty dope. Ozzy recently brought a 10 year old kid on stage with him to play guitar on his classic “Crazy Train”…the little guy rocked. I also see Ozzy recently worked with the Wu Tang Clan on something for his Greatest Hits album coming out soon. I’m looking forward to hearing that.

Reports are coming in that the world famous DJ Jazzy Jeff (probably the first “DJ” most Americans ever knew) was removed from Las Vegas club Surrender / Encore after management decided they didn’t like what the DJ was playing at a special tribute to DJ AM. Jeff reported traveled to Vegas specifically for the event (possibly for free) since this was charity event.

This follows Kansas City’s original embarrassment earlier in the year, when Power and Light kicked DJ Jazzy Jeff offstage for “playing hip-hop,” according to Jeff.
